STOMU MIYAZAKI
Associate, Senior Designer
Stomu Miyazaki graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts [B.F.A. in Sculpture] and the Nippon University in Tokyo, Japan
[B.S. in Physics]. With his diversified academic background in art and science; and training in design, his creative work has been
exhibited in numerous galleries in Tokyo - Japan, Oakland - California, Manhattan - New York. Both his furniture and lighting designs have
been awarded in international design competitions. Throughout his years at SITE since 1984, he has been in the design team associated with
projects like Highway 86 for Expo '86, Vancouver; Theater for the New City, New York; SITE studios at the Bayard Building, New York; USA
Pavilion for EXPO 2000, Hannover, Germany; Garden Pavilion, Briosco, Italy. By affiliation, he is an architectural design consultant for
commercial and residential real estate developments in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Miami.
